Many skin care products on the market today are filled with harsh chemicals and preservatives. Most of them contain some form of petroleum, the stuff they refine to make chemical lubricants and gasoline. YUCK! Do you want to rub "Turtle Wax" on your skin? We didn't think so!
Nature has provided many resources for natural, healthy skin care... the limits and combinations are endless. For centuries, our ancestors have used hundreds of different plant, seed, berry, fruit, nut, mud, clay, salt, and even animal products to cleanse, moisturize, heal, and perfume the body.
Here at The Squirrel's Nest, most of the products we make contain all natural ingredients obtained from various plant oils and tree nuts, sea salts, herbs, flowers, berries, roots, etc. with the exception of some fragrance oils. We use no animal ingredients that are obtained by the death of that animal, and we do not test our products on animals (except humans!).
Our products are very mild and non-irritating, however, this is not to say that some individuals may a have a sensitivity to a particular ingredient used in our products. Those in particular with an allergic sensitivity to milk products or nuts should assume our products are not suitable for use.
